For the Fainthearted

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 (NIV)

Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight  for you against your enemies to give you victory.

Lord, did I push you into the passenger seat again? I’m sorry. Please forgive me.  I’m lost AGAIN!  I’m always lost. I hate panic.  It makes me sick. Climb over me Lord, take the wheel, drive me to victory.

I want to be a winner.

Jesus, I’ll let you drive this lenten journey to the cross.  I’ll drive to enjoy the ride. Thank you for a sure win. Amen!
