Son of Man

Empty CrossMark 10:33-34
“We are going up to Jerusalem,” Jesus said, “and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.”

O Lord, my God, the path to the cross is scary. I know you are trying to prepare me for what must be but still I want to advise you to turn back. I don’t want you harmed. I can’t bear to see you condemned, yet I look forward to the day you rise from the tomb. I want to shout and give you praise. Give me courage Lord. Hold me steady. Give me strength. Amen!
